Modern logistics require a global thinking. Apart from the development and production of quality components the worldwide punctual delivery has become an important competitive factor. Due to the opening up of new markets by our customers the requirement profile for an efficient partner and supplier has equally changed.

Apart from an appropriate equipment consisting of modern systems for exchanging and receiving data, complex procedures and the corresponding know-how are the basis for modern delivery processes.

For example the new Golf platform of the Volkswagen group is manufactured at approximately 10 locations following a complete model change. Each customer plant has special requirements concerning delivery frequency, Just-in-Time-Deliveries, packaging or customs clearance.

In the past Karl Maier has repeatedly proved that the company is more than up to cope with considerable challenges. Global thinking is an important element of our trade.
